Year 1 – In Review

I retired on April 24, 2009 from a full-time job! I have recently thought about how I would sum up my first year.

1. I caught up on sleep.
2. I tried wakeboarding.
3. I traveled more freely.
4. I spent more time with friends and family.
5. I completed a memoir writing class.
6. I finished the San Antonio Half Marathon.
7. I learned how to blog.
8. I consigned a lot of stuff.
9. I redecorated.

Alan and I celebrated our 10 year dating anniversary, 7 year wedding anniversary and had the kitchen remodeled. Briefly, we contemplated moving downtown, but changed our minds because our house is paid for and we love our neighbors! We are having so much fun together and could not be happier.
